Athena Dinsmore

Athena Dinsmore started practicing yoga regularly as a new mother to support the healing of postpartum depression. This sacred practice guided her to a better understanding of herself and what her body and mind need. It led her to a path of self-discovery and many personal changes followed including mindful eating and nourishment which resulted in substantial weight loss.

In 2019 Athena completed her 200hr yoga teacher training with East to West Yoga and has found a calling in guided meditation as well as mindful-self-compassion and intuitive movement practices. She has worked along side many yoga and healing practitioners, each whom have inspired her in unique ways to create a deeper yoga experience in her classes and workshops.

Athena is also the creator of Sunshine House Malas, where she uses her eye for nature’s beauty to create one-of-a-kind gemstone malas and bracelets. Using traditional hand-knotting methods and gemstone vibrational knowledge to deepen meditation and healing intentions.

Athena believes yoga is a lifestyle and is life-transformative and her dream is to connect everyone to yoga and ultimately themselves. Athena’s classes invite you to move inward, explore and have fun! You can expect some honest giggles and yoga origin exploration.
